Nos Vamos, Volvemos, Pero Podemos!

It's the fate of any blogger to update regularly for a stretch, disappear, and then come by after a couple of months and say, "Wow, I hardly ever come by here. I promise to post more on this thing!" And then never post again. But that's not me!

Let's take a look at new vocabulary!

8th Grade is talking about new parts of the body. This vocabulary is working in tandem with their old vocabulary on basic body parts from last year. Their quiz over vocabulary is this Thursday. Their powerpoint about a Latin American City is due on December 3rd and 4th. If you would like to bring in a plate of food indigenous to your city as an added visual aid, you may (no bonus points though).

7th Grade is talking about things to do in your free time (el Tiempo Libre). This vocabulary is working along with their AR verbs. We'll have a quiz over this new vocabulary on Wednesday. Their powerpoint about a City in Spain  is due on December 5th. If you would like to bring in a food dish popular in your city as an added visual aid, you may (it's not mandatory, however).

6th Grade is discussing things to do in school along with the present tense of verbs in multiple points of view. We'll have a quiz on this grammar this Friday.

Thanksgiving break is coming next week. Friday will be the school-wide Thanksgiving Feast along with a House Competition, but that will NOT impede 6th grade's quiz that morning.

Keep checking back for more updates along with some A/V pronunciation guides to our vocabulary.
