Unit 1

So we are all beginning our first unit after the introductory phase. We'll be focusing on several different vocabulary topics and a few specific grammar and conversational topics.

Eighth Grade:

• We have two lists of vocabulary words nationalities and countries along with emotions.
• These lists are prime examples of our grammar unit (which will be discussed later this week) the differences between ser and estar

Seventh Grade:

• This Friday we'll be taking a quiz over the verbs ser and gustar.

• We'll be focusing more on vocabulary with our project about adjectives and body parts

Sixth Grade:

• We will continue working with the verb gustar and have a brief quiz this Friday.
• We received our adjectives vocabulary this week and we'll be working with them along with our conversational bits on describing ourselves and others.
• We will receive our vocabulary over body parts this week and work with them for the next couple of weeks.
